Rules
It is the responsibility of all participating members and guest to adhere to the conditions of uses outlined below.
Climbing in its simplest form is movement at height; therefore, there are risk of fall from height. Any fall may result in an injury or even death despite the safety systems in place to avoid it. You must make your own assessment of the risks whenever you climb.
Our Duty of Care- The rules of the company set out below are not intended to limit your enjoyment of the activities. They are. Part of the duty of care that we as a company, owe to you, our customers and clients, by law. As such they are non-negotiable. If you are not prepared to abide by them, you may not belong to our company or use our equipment. If it comes to our attention that you are not abiding by our rules; we may revoke your activities and our staff will require you to leave.
Your Duty of care – You also have a duty of care to act responsibility towards other customers and clients of the activities.
Unsupervised Climbing – before you climb without supervision, Iventure Outdoor Group ltd expects you to be competent in the activity you wish to undertake. You are required to fill out consent and medical form understand and accept the rules below and you understand the risks involved in your participation. Anyone who has not filled out the consent and medical form must not climb without supervision. Unsupervised climbing is just that. Staff will provide whatever to help and advice they can, but instruction in the use of equipment or climbing techniques will only be provided when you have booked with one of our qualified instructors. If you are not confident in the use of any climbing equipment or techniques, you must not attempt to use it without the supervision of someone who his who is competent to do so.
Children - [under eighteens] all under eighteens must be supervised by a parent or guardian with a qualified climbing instructor.
General Safety
Registration - you must fill out a consent and medical form upon arrival for your activity It must be completed and signed before taking part in any activity.
All customers and clients must:
· Report to your I venture outdoor Ltd staff member before you climb
· At all times exercise care common sense and self preservation
· Report any problems any problem with equipment's, the wall and or other clients or Customers behaviour or other members of the public to a staff member immediately
· Be aware of other customers and members of public around you and how your actions will affect them
· Do not distract people whilst they are climbing, belaying or supervising
· Well back from the climbing walls unless you are belaying or spotting a climber. Never stands or climb directly under someone who is climbing and ensure the climbing zone is free from hazardous items
· Refer to best practise for specific safety rules
· When climbing do not climb with unsecured items on your person for example objects in your pocket.
Instructed groups
Iventure Outdoor Group ltd requires an instructor/ coach to be registered with the company. We also require a copy of instructors slash coaches qualifications an insurance prior to the start of the session.
Qualified instructors slash coaches can lead a session with a ratio up two an not exceeding 1 to 9
Instructor or coach is always required to closely supervise their group
Possessions
Iventure Outdoor Group Ltd cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your personal possessions
You are giving Iventure Outdoor Group Ltd permission to process the personal data supplied specifically for the purposes identify in our privacy policy. I venture outdoor group limited collects data under the terms identified in the privacy policy relating to the general data protection regulation. I confirm that I understand the conditions of use and rules laid out above and realise that failure to comply with the rules and conditions of use could result in injury to myself or others and expulsion from Iventure Outdoor Group Ltd.
